📘 Meaning & Usage

The particle ~が is used to mark the subject of a sentence. It indicates who or what performs the action or experiences the state described by the verb or adjective.

Translation: [Subject] + が + [Verb/Adjective]

  • 猫が好きです。
    Neko ga suki desu.
