📘 Meaning & Usage

~だろう is an informal ending expressing conjecture or asking for agreement: “probably,” “I think,” or “right?”

💡 Examples

  • 明日は雨が降るだろう。
    Ashita wa ame ga furu darou.
    It will probably rain tomorrow.
  • 彼は来ないだろう?
    Kare wa konai darou?
    He probably won’t come, right?
  • これで大丈夫だろう。
    Kore de daijōbu darou.
    This should be fine, I think.
