📘 Meaning & Usage
The grammar structure ~にしろ~にしろ (or ~にせよ~にせよ) is used to present two or more possibilities and express that either case leads to the same conclusion or idea.
Common translation: Whether… or… / No matter if it’s A or B
Form:
- Noun / Verb casual / い-adjective / な-adjective stem + にしろ + Noun / Verb… + にしろ
Used when:
- Listing multiple possibilities
- Highlighting that the situation or decision is the same regardless
