📘 Meaning & Usage
～ないではいられない is used to express the idea of “can’t help but…” or “cannot stop oneself from…” doing something. It’s typically used when emotions or urges are too strong to control.
Structure:
V（ない form）+ ではいられない
Meaning: “Can’t help but…”, “Have to…”, “Can’t not…”
Usage note: This is a strong emotional expression and used when a feeling or reaction is spontaneous and uncontrollable.
