📘 Meaning & Usage
The grammar point 方（かた） is used to express “how to do something” or “the way of doing”. It is added to the stem of a verb (the ます-form without ます).
🔍 Structure
Verb stem + 方（かた）
- 使い ＋ 方 → 使い方 → tsukaikata → how to use
- 書き ＋ 方 → 書き方 → kakikata → how to write

- このパソコンの使い方がわかりません。
Kono pasokon no tsukaikata ga wakarimasen.
I don’t understand how to use this computer. - 日本語の書き方を勉強しています。

- Use the verb stem (remove ます from the ます-form) + 方.
