📘 Meaning & Usage
The grammar patterns ~からすると / ~からすれば are used to express a judgment, opinion, or guess based on a specific perspective or evidence.
Structure:
Noun + からすると
Noun + からすれば
Meaning:
- Judging from ~
- From the standpoint of ~
- Seen from ~’s perspective
The two expressions are often interchangeable. からすれば is slightly more formal or logical, while からすると is more neutral.
